Our Purpose & Operational Mission
For years, property transactions and residential building projects across West Bengal have faced recurring hurdles: non-standard regional land metrics, complex revenue schedules, and arbitrary contractor estimates. A land parcel in Jalpaiguri, Siliguri, Howrah, or South 24 Parganas regularly involves fractional subdivisions—such as Bigha, Katha, Satak, Chatak, and Ganda—alongside official digital records on the Banglarbhumi portal.
Jomi Hisab was developed as an independent digital public utility to provide an open, transparent, and accurate platform for land calculations and civil planning. Our mission is to eliminate confusion from land area conversions, statutory deed registration budgeting, and building material estimates by combining West Bengal Land & Land Reforms standards with Bureau of Indian Standards (IS Code) civil specifications.
